Cello

Originally from Surrey, Anna Stuart studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with Emma Ferrand before moving to Dusseldorf, Germany, to complete a Master's degree in Orchestral Playing with Gregor Horsch. After several years living and working in Germany she moved back to the UK in 2018 to take up her associate role in the Cello section of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

Anna also holds a 50% position in the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and divides her time between the two orchestras. She loves the huge variety that the job brings, as well as all the opportunities to travel and perform across the world.
