The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) presents a series of socially distanced smaller-scale performances, showcasing its exceptionally talented musicians. These performances have been exclusively recorded for you in the glorious acoustics of Cadogan Hall. Each concert places a different ensemble from the Orchestra in the limelight, with a glorious selection of music, from time-honoured favourites to some less well-known musical gems that shine a spotlight on great composers.
These performances can be enjoyed free of charge on the RPO's YouTube channel. Watch our Spotlight Series at Home concert, which features soloist Chloë Hanslip playing Mendelssohn's electrifying Violin Concerto. Barry Wordsworth conducts Britten's colourful music for ballet, Plymouth Town, and Beethoven's Coriolan Overture. This stream is available to watch until 22 July.
You can watch our sublime String section playing Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings.
