Join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as it celebrates 75 years at the forefront of music-making in the UK with a star-studded concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall. This very special occasion will also welcome Vasily Petrenko as the RPO’s new Music Director.

The programme will feature masterpieces written by three of the greatest English composers, Delius, Elgar and Walton, all of whom are synonymous with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and its founder Sir Thomas Beecham.

Joining Vasily Petrenko and the RPO will be two of the musical world’s biggest stars: Sheku Kanneh-Mason will play Elgar’s beautiful and introspective Cello Concerto, whilst Sir Bryn Terfel will draw out the wicked excitement and intense joy in William Walton’s dramatic cantata, Belshazzar's Feast, supported by the Philharmonia Chorus.

Passion, versatility and uncompromising artistic standards, as well as a belief that music is a gift that can bring people together and inspire positive change, have been RPO hallmarks for the past 75 years. As we embark on our next exciting chapter, we invite you to join the journey and share the thrill of live orchestral music.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra gratefully acknowledges the support of RPO President, Mrs Aline Foriel-Destezet.
