The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra announces a new way to support the Orchestra
At the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO), we are enormously grateful to our family of supporters, and we are always looking for new ways for people to join us in our mission of bringing the joy of music to the widest possible audience.
Last month, the RPO announced a new way to support the Orchestra: by becoming an RPO Patron. This new level of support bridges the gap between the RPO Club and RPO Chair Patrons and is set to become a cornerstone in our valued family of loyal supporters.
Becoming an RPO Patron allows you to forge a much closer relationship with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra; for example, RPO Patrons gain access to exclusive supporter events and ‘behind-the-scenes’ insights into the work of the RPO, as well as having the opportunity to meet and get to know our phenomenal musicians.
As an RPO Patron, you will receive four complimentary tickets per season to RPO promoted concerts in London, complimentary copies of printed concert programmes, acknowledgment of your support online and in selected concert programmes, and a priority booking line. You will also receive invitations to selected pre-concert and interval receptions, open rehearsals, and exclusive RPO Insights events that are only open to RPO Patrons and sponsors.

Members of the Orchestra’s loyal family of supporters come from every walk of life; some can’t get enough Mahler and Rachmaninov, while others prefer John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and ABBA. Whatever your taste in music, we’ll have a concert that you’ll love (for our full list, please click here). As well as supporting our concerts at the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, and Cadogan Hall, your donations help us take our music all around the country and the globe. Whether we’re performing in Reading, Hull, or Northampton, or on tour in Germany, the USA, or China, your support allows us to share the joy of world-class orchestral music with everyone.
Your support also helps to fund RPO Resound: our ground-breaking community and engagement programme that has been at the forefront of using music to enrich lives for over thirty years. Whether we’re working in primary schools, prisons, universities, healthcare settings or bringing people into our concert venues for the very first time, we believe music is for everyone and integral to happy, healthy and connected communities.
