Call us RP-OO7 becuase on Tuesday 4 April we performed the The Music of Bond to a sold-out Royal Albert Hall, celebrating over 60 years of James Bond on the big screen.
On Thursday 30 March we performed the second concert in our Mahler series at the Royal Albert Hall, part of our Journeys of Discovery 2022-23 London Season, with our Music Director Vasily Petrenko conducting Mahler's Second Symphony to a crowded auditorium.
On 21 March RPO Resound and members of the Orchestra were invited, alongside our partners at the Irene Taylor Trust, to give a key note performance at a conference in Rich Mix, London, hosted by the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance as part of their Inspiring Futures programme.
On Wednesday 8 February the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra performed music by Prokofiev, Ravel, Wagner and Scriabin for Journyes of Discovery: Ecstasy, a concert that delved into the musical langauge of love, longing and spritiual ascension in Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall with Music Director Vasily Petrenko.
